Choose what needs to stop or be removed
Disconnecting an account, deleting Studio records, ending an engagement and deleting a public social post are different actions. Tell us which result you need. Studio cannot remove every copy held independently by a social platform.
Disconnect an account from Studio
- Ask the authorised DigiCyfr operator to open the correct client workspace and Social Accounts.
- Confirm the account identity and review pending drafts or schedules.
- Use Disconnect for that account. Studio attempts to revoke the platform credential and removes the local connection.
- Check the platform’s connected-app settings if you also want to revoke the app grant there. Do not revoke unrelated agency tools.
For TikTok, review the authorised apps under the account’s security/permissions settings. Platform menu names can change. A grant can also be managed from TikTok’s own connected-app controls.
Request deletion of Studio information
Email info@digicyfr.com with the subject “DigiCyfr Studio data deletion”. Include:
- Your business or engagement name.
- The platform and account handle, and the Studio workspace if known.
- Whether you want disconnection, deletion of drafts/media, removal of personal information, or termination of the whole service.
- A reply address already associated with the engagement, where possible.
Do not send a password, access token, recovery code or full identity document. We verify authority proportionately before acting. If you are contacting us about a client-controlled record, the client may need to instruct the deletion.
What account disconnection does
Removing a social connection deletes its local account record and the associated account-specific post targets. Drafts targeting only that account may be removed. A multi-platform draft or shared media can remain because it serves other authorised targets; request its removal separately if appropriate.
Disconnection does not delete a TikTok video, Facebook post or Instagram post already published. Request deletion of the public post on the platform, or include that instruction while a suitable authorised connection is still available.
Backups and record exceptions
The current application retains three successful local recovery snapshots. Removed information can persist in restricted snapshots until rotation; three snapshots does not necessarily mean three days.
Information required for a justified legal obligation, dispute or security investigation may need restricted retention. We explain relevant exceptions and the actions taken in response to your request.
After your request
We identify the relevant account/workspace, confirm authority and assess any client instructions or retention duties. We then carry out or coordinate the appropriate removal and respond with the outcome within the applicable period.
If access was compromised, say so in the subject and revoke suspicious access on the platform immediately. Contact support for help with the correct service boundary.
